I finally got caught up and man, I remember now much I actually abhor Cassidy in this fic and in the series. As much as I would like to feel a little bit of pity for him or at least some understanding, I can't get past everything he's done up to the point of his suicide. Even in fics he's annoying as heck and I hope he burns for all he's done.
One of my favorite Logan lines to date has got to be: "A shitty boyfriend who gets to keep his good girlfriend in one piece."
Because isn't that kind of the crux of their relationship's problem and saving grace? That they both want each other safe and protected but don't necessarily love it when the other does it for them. It's hilarious sometimes, but mostly so fucking sweet -- in their conventional way.
