Not at all, my dear. I'm playing on Logan's fears here. At first it was because of his alibi, but now Logan's legitimately worried about Beaver's sanity and if he loses it that he might go after Veronica. Logan's also very worried about Veronica's potential reaction because, being in a relationship with her now, he feels that he'd jeopardize it by telling her after knowing for so long. Kinda like how in S1, he didn't tell her about lying about his alibi. He could have, he should have, but he didn't.
But I'm glad you asked because it lets me know how plausible or implausible this storyline is and that maybe I should be making it more realistic. Of course, I can always fall on the excuse that these characters are just kids and make their issues out to be much, much worse than they might be. :)
